4 types of sessions will be provided on RO-MAN 2024:
Regular Sessions
Special Sessions
Workshop/Tutorial Sessions
Late Breaking Report Sessions
Regular Sessions: Prospective authors are invited to submit high-quality papers reporting original results under the broad theme of Human-Robot Interaction. Manuscripts will be reviewed through rigorous single-blind peer-review process. The maximum length of final submission is 6 pages, with 2 additional pages allowed at an extra charge. Papers presented on regular sessions will be included in the official conference proceedings.
Special Sessions: 1) Prospective special session organizers are invited to submit completed proposals to provide participants focused discussions on innovative topics. 2) After the proposal is accepted, special session organizers handle the overall process of call for papers, reviewing, and organizing the sessions during the conference. Papers submitted to special sessions will use same RAS review system. Papers presented on special sessions will be included in the official conference proceedings.
Tutorials and Workshops: Applied research and applications, on-going work, and tutorials on research tools are encouraged to be presented to RO-MAN attendees. 1) Prospective organizers are invited submit proposals covering a wide range of topics within under the broad theme of Human-Robot Interaction. 2) After the acceptance, the organizers organize the tutorials and workshops at the conference.
Late Breaking Reports: Prospective authors are invited to submit their recent applied research, innovative applications and work-in-progress reports to designated interactive sessions hosted during the whole conference.
3 sessions are provided to encourage the participance of industrial players, researchers, students to
Exhibition Sessions: Ro-MAN offers an excellent opportunity for the industrial players to showcase their most recently innovative products and services through the whole conference at the venue.
Robot Design Competition: Prospective designers and engineers are encouraged to submit their innovative robot designs. Winners will be awarded based on the novelty, impact, and user experience judged by the awards committee.
STEM Competition: A STEM competition will be organized during the conference to encourage K-12 students to attend to understand Robotics and Human-Robot Interaction, and cultivate their skills of programing, logic thinking, and team collaboration.
